Privacy Policy
Last updated: [July 27, 2026]
This policy explains what information BAC Calculator Pro (“we,” “us,” “this site”) collects, how it’s used, and what choices you have. We wrote it in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, contact us at [admin.baccalculatorpro@gmail.com].
The short version
The BAC calculator itself does not send your personal data to us. Your weight, height, age, sex, and drink log are stored only in your own browser (using a technology called local storage) and stay on your device. We never see them, store them on our servers, or share them with anyone. If you clear your browser data, that information is gone.
The website around the calculator, like any website, does collect some basic technical data, and may use cookies for analytics. The rest of this policy explains that in detail.
Information the calculator uses (stays on your device)
When you use the BAC calculator, you can enter:
- Biological sex, weight, height, and age
- Whether you ate food
- Drinks you’ve logged, including type, volume, alcohol percentage, and time consumed
- Your preferred units and legal limit reference
- Light or dark theme preference
This information is saved using your browser’s local storage, a standard web feature that keeps small amounts of data on your own device so the tool remembers your settings between visits. It is never transmitted to our servers, and we have no access to it. If you use the “Download Report” or “Share Card” feature, the PDF or image is generated entirely in your browser and saved directly to your device. We do not receive a copy.
Information our website may collect
Like most websites, our server and hosting provider automatically log some technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This is standard server behavior used for security and basic traffic monitoring, and is not tied to your calculator inputs.
Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies or similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site (for example, [Google Analytics]) and to remember basic preferences. These tools may collect information such as your approximate location (city or region level, not precise), browser and device type, and which pages you visit.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so may affect how some features of the site remember your preferences, but it will not affect the BAC calculator’s core functionality, since that runs on local storage rather than cookies.
Third-party services
This site may use the following types of third-party services:
- Analytics (such as Google Analytics), to understand site traffic
- Advertising (such as Google AdSense), if and when ads are enabled on the site
- Fonts and content delivery (such as Google Fonts), to load site styling
These third parties may collect data according to their own privacy policies, not this one. We recommend reviewing Google’s privacy policy directly if you have concerns about services like Analytics, AdSense, or Fonts.
[If you are not currently running analytics or ads, remove the relevant bullet above. Add any specific services you actually use, such as email newsletter tools or contact form plugins.]
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under the legal drinking age in their location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws like the GDPR (Europe) or the CCPA (California), including the right to know what data is collected about you, request deletion of that data, and opt out of the sale of personal information. Since the calculator’s data lives entirely in your own browser, you can exercise most of these rights yourself at any time by clearing your browser’s local storage and cookies for this site.
For any data collected by our website itself (such as analytics), you can contact us at [admin.baccalculatorpro@gmail.com] to make a request, or use the opt-out tools provided by the relevant third-party service.
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect the site and any limited data our servers do handle, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure. Because your calculator data never leaves your device, the security of that specific information depends on your own device and browser.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page occasionally.
